Toney ACE hardware became a member of the Franklin County business community in 1991 when we opened our first store in Louisburg.

 

The Toney family had been involved with Toney Lumber Company since 1963 and Toney ACE gave them the opportunity to interact with the community in the retail arena!   We opened our second store in Youngsville in 2008.  

Each store has its own “feel”; each with its own unique personality.  For example, Louisburg has a small engine repair shop which services repairs for both locations.  In addition, the Louisburg location sells treated lumber and bulk mulch, rock and sand (with free local delivery).  In Youngsville, we sell Benjamin Moore paints, you can get your hunting and/or fishing license or find a specialty flag or decorative mailbox covers under ‘The Arbor”.  

As an ACE dealer, we are part of the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the country…our stores are family owned, so when you shop with us you are supporting local business and local people!   In turn, our stores support other local vendors such as local beekeepers, greenhouses, and wood workers.
